Test order: Low-temperature storage near Nuremberg

A low-temperature warehouse over 30 m high and with a total area of over 10,000 m² is being built for an international logistics company near Nuremberg. In future, almost 30,000 pallets can be stored here at -24°C.

The load-bearing racking system is fed by fully automatic storage and retrieval machines.

High demands result from the planned oxygen reduction system and the requirements for cooling the building.

Simon Bertsch was commissioned as a fire protection testing expert to test the fire protection concept and supervise the construction.
